As your cat sitter, I’ll take care of the everyday details that help your cat feel comfortable at home while you’re away. Some cats are excited for pets, cuddles, and playtime the moment I arrive. Others need time to decide. I’ll follow their lead while making sure their daily needs are met.

Each cat sitting visit includes feeding, fresh water, litter box maintenance, and medication administration as arranged. I also pay close attention to appetite, litter box habits, behavior, and signs of stress or anxiety. Changes that seem small can tell us a lot.
As a pet sitter with experience caring for hundreds of cats and dogs, including at PAWS Chicago, I’ve learned to be patient, observant, and responsive to the pet in front of me.
Affection is always optional.
A great cat sitter always makes time for lots of play, brushing, and cuddles – if they’re into that. Some kitties need a little time before opening up to a new person. If they’d rather watch from a distance or relax in a favorite hiding spot, I’ll give them all the space they need to feel comfortable.
You’ll receive a detailed text after each visit: what we did, how your cat is doing, and anything I noticed, with a few cute pictures whenever they’re comfortable being photographed.
