Finding Chris has been a game changer for our beloved family dogs. Our dogs are high energy, routine oriented, Velcro in nature— we know they would not do well in a kennel overnight. However, we also have lots of out of town family and 3 active kids so we needed someone to be there with them when we couldn’t. When we travel, It was important to us to find a caretaker for them that loved them as much as we do- and Chris does just that. Before we book any family trip, Chris is our first call. Sunshine Pet Care has been my cat sitting service for a little over a year now. Chris is a fantastic pet sitter. I never have to worry about dependability and he's great at keeping me updated after every visit. My cat is not very social with strangers. He typically runs and hides from anyone he doesn't know, but Chris was patient and kind. Chris even got him to come out and lay on his back for some belly rubs! Best cat sitter I've ever had. Highly recommended!

Chris has been providing daily dog walks for our pup for about 5 months now, and in that time, there have been multiple situations where he has gone above and beyond for her, and for us. He has great attention to detail, is incredibly professional, and always puts the pets in his care first. He never makes scheduling mistakes, is well organized, and seems to have written the book on pet care. He always has a handy tip or recommendation when needed. We have also greatly appreciated his flexibility, since he has always been willing to accommodate last minute needs for our often fluctuating schedule. That is truly invaluable to us. Our thermostat broke during a snowy day, and not only did he notice and call to notify me, but he also took the necessary precautions, as we requested, to stabilize things and keep her safe until we could return. When we were looking for a pet care product, he actually provided it for us. Talk about above and beyond! We have no doubt that heaven forbid, there was ever a need or emergency involving our pup, that she would be in the best hands with Chris.

I was so happy to have my cats so well cared for. I was kept apprised of their situation with pictures and a great narrative. It's clear that Chris has a huge love for animals and it shows up in how he takes care of them. He was also super flexible when I had to change my plans a few times. The fees are reasonable. I will definitely recommend Sunshine and intend to use the services again.

I have been using Chris as my dog caretaker for two years now. I am very fortunate to have found him. I feel 100% comfortable leaving Chris with the pups for overnight sitting, sometimes for over a week at a time. He is totally trustworthy and very conscientious. He always goes above and beyond. The last long week away, one of the dogs had a stomach issue. Chris not only ran her to the vet several times but picked up special food and medication. And my dogs absolutely adore Chris. They not only get excited when they see him at the door, but They jump up and down just if I say his name. He keeps me in the loop by sending updates and photos every day and evening. He is a compassionate animal lover and I know he loves Wendy and Danny unconditionally. You wouldn’t want to leave your dogs with anyone other than Chris. He’s the best dog sitter you could ever have!

Chris is awesome! We have a 15+ year old dog who is the most precious thing in our lives and we feel like we are leaving in the best possible hands with him. He is gentle, patient, and truly cares about the pets in his charge. When our neighbors see him with her, they constantly comment on how good he is with her and how clear it is that he really cares about her. He does not just walk and feed your pets, he also pays very close attention to their health and well-being. When he finds anything that might be a health or safety issue, he brings it to our attention immediately and often helps to determine how best to deal with it. He also helped us to find a deal on a dog bed that we wanted to buy that allowed us to get two for the price of one. If you want a professional, compassionate person caring for your pets and your home while you are out of town or just to walk your dog on a regular basis, then look no further. He is amazing!

Chris Dill is above 5 star. We have used him three times this year for our old cat who doesn't come to anyone. Chris approached her within minutes of arriving at our home and had her purring almost immediately. Chris is the real deal. And he does take photos each visit and texts them to us. He is what he claims to be.
